Cauliflower Crust Pizza
This is what the Brown family likes to do when making a Cauliflower Crust Pizza.
Ingredients for pizza crust:
2 Cups Cauliflower, finely chopped
2 Cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 Eggs
Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano, Garlic, and Salt to add flavor
Pizza sauce and toppings that you prefer
Parchment Paper
Directions:
Preheat oven with broil setting with pizza stone (preferred method) in the oven. (Note: keep a close eye on your pizza any time you are using the broil setting because it tends to be hotter than regular oven settings.)
Chop the head of cauliflower into small sections and finely chop it in a food processor. Once finely chopped, mix the cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, eggs, herbs, and salt in a large bowl.
Put the mixture onto parchment paper (I say wax paper in the video, but I mean parchment. DO NOT USE WAX PAPER IN YOUR OVEN.) and form your crust in a circular shape or rectangular shape. Then place the crust with parchment paper directly onto the preheated pizza stone.
Broil crust for 8 - 10 minutes on one side. Remove crust and carefully flip it onto another piece of parchment paper and broil on the second side for another 8 - 10 minutes.
Once the crust is cooked to your liking add your toppings and place it back in the oven to broil for about 5 minutes or until cooked through.
This is a great recipe for batch cooking several crusts at a time, cooling, and placing in the refrigerator to add your toppings at another time.
